1.     Aggressive behavior

3.     Breeding competition

Males mostly like fighting to show strength in front of the female Betta fish. Female Betta fish breed only with the strong male. To show the strong behavior of the fish, they fight until one male is killed and the other becomes dominant.

If you want to breed the Betta fish, never add two males to the same tank. For peaceful breeding, you may add more than one female in the same tank but not more than one male in the same tank. Try to breed separately in the new tank for the safety of the eggs.
